There have been some blatant political appointments over the years but the appointment of Evan Rolley head of the Department of Premier and Cabinet has got to be the most shameless. Premier Lennon has perpetrated another con job on the people of Tasmania, following his manipulation of due process regarding Gunns Pulp Mill. He obviously has no shame; but then, he has no opposition, either from his own side or from the Liberals. What's next? John Gay as Governor?
